Premium Neutral Cure Silicone Sealant for Glazing and Construction Joints Soudal SILIRUB® 2 is a high-performance, premium-grade silicone sealant designed for a wide range of construction and glazing applications. Its neutral cure formulation provides excellent adhesion without corrosion, making it suitable for use on metals, glass, plastics, masonry, and coated surfaces. It offers permanent elasticity, superior weather resistance, and long-term durability in both interior and exterior environments. Key Features & Benefits Neutral Cure: Non-corrosive to metal substrates and compatible with a wide range of construction materials. Weather & UV Resistant: Ideal for external applications requiring long-lasting durability. Excellent Adhesion: Bonds to glass, aluminium, PVCu, wood, concrete, and more without primer in most cases. Permanently Elastic: Accommodates joint movement up to ±25%. Mould Resistant: Contains fungicide for sanitary and glazing applications in damp conditions. Application: Use a standard sealant gun to apply an even bead into the joint. Tooling: Smooth with a suitable tool or spatula within the skinning time. Limitations Not paintable — use in areas where painting is not required. Do not use in aquariums or on bituminous substrates. Health & Safety Use in well-ventilated areas.
