Crafted by Produttori Vini Manduria, the oldest active wine-growing cooperative in Puglia, this bottling highlights the magnificent potential of white grape varieties grown along the Ionian coast. Made from Fiano, one of southern Italy's most noble white grapes, it delivers a vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired drinking experience defined by bright citrus, stone fruit, and delicate floral nuances.. Grown in vineyards benefiting from maritime breezes off the nearby sea, the grapes retain crisp natural acidity despite the warm southern climate. Cool fermentation in stainless steel preserves the pure primary fruit character, resulting in a delightfully refreshing, well-balanced white that offers a wonderful alternative to classic Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.. Vineyard & Production. The grapes are harvested from select vineyard parcels across the Manduria territory, planted on red, clay-rich soils over a limestone base. To protect delicate primary aromatics, the fruit is harvested in the cool early hours of the morning and brought immediately to the cellar. After gentle pressing, the juice undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine rests on its fine lees for several months to gain subtle textural complexity before being bottled fresh to maintain its bright, crisp profile.. Tasting Notes. In the glass, it displays a pale straw-yellow colour with luminous greenish reflections. The nose is fragrant and inviting, offering scents of white peach, crisp green apple, and lime blossom, interwoven with subtle notes of jasmine, crushed stone, and fresh Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied, zesty, and beautifully clean, delivering juicy orchard fruit and citrus flavours supported by a mineral streak and a clean, refreshing finish.. Perfect Pairings. With its vibrant acidity, light texture, and bright floral notes, this Puglian white wine is a natural match for seafood and Mediterranean dishes. It pairs magnificently with fresh oysters, grilled king prawns, seared sea bass, and fried calamari.
