"Remarkably pure. Like a flourish of silver trumpets, the acidity shining off the ripe curvature of fruit. It's as if the grapevines undertook precision engineering of flavour and sweetness to deliver a wine that barely tastes sweet at all. You could almost drink this like a dry wine. Thrumming with energy and urgency. Prismic prettiness throwing shafts of light that reach long and last forever. This wine has an immense abundance of fruity flavour. Grapes were grown on 50-60 year old vines in the Röttgen VDP.GROSSE LAGE (Grand Cru) classified vineyard. The south / south-west facing vineyard is steep and terraced, with soil rich in iron and slate. Grapes were grown sustainable and carefully harvested by hand. The wine was fermented using natural yeast. Alcohol: 7,5 % vol. Res. sugar: 64,6 g/l Acidity: 8,1 g/l
