Vineyard & Production. The grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness from select, low-yielding vineyard parcels across Marlborough. Upon arrival at the winery, the fruit is gently whole-bunch pressed into old and seasoned French oak barriques as well as stainless steel tanks. A significant portion undergoes spontaneous wild fermentation with partial malolactic conversion, while the wine remains on its fine lees with regular stirring for several months to build luxurious mid-palate weight and texture before final blending and bottling.. Tasting Notes. In the glass, it displays a brilliant, pale lemon-gold colour.
