This high-performance solution fits neatly underneath your sink and delivers exceptional water quality by using a two-stage filtration process. Firstly, water passes through your choice of pre-filter cartridge. These are designed to reduce specific concerns such as Limescale, Fluoride, PFAS, Sediment and other unwanted contaminants in your drinking water. When adding your system to the basket, simply select the pre-filter cartridge that best addresses your personal preferences. Following this, the water then flows through the independently certified Biotect® Ultra Filter. This ceramic water filter provides powerful protection by reducing up to 99.99% of common contaminants including the following in varying levels, which can be viewed on our performance claims table here: Bacteria and cysts (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium) Common insecticides and herbicides Microplastics Heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury Chlorine and monochloramine Installing the Doulton HIP DUO water filter system is a simple process for those with some DIY experience. We’ve included clear, easy to follow in the box, and an installation pack is also included free of charge at checkout. If you’d feel more comfortable having a professional assist, a qualified plumber can usually complete the installation in about an hour. We highly recommend using the Doulton Pillar Tap or integrated with the Doulton Three Way Mixer Tap (each sold separately), to maximise the effectiveness of this system.
