Distilled in April 1997 and bottled in January 2015 after 17 years matured entirely in fresh and refill sherry butts, this is Springbank at its most richly complex — and one of the distillery’s most celebrated limited releases. Unmistakably Campbeltown in character, with coastal salt and subtle peat woven through layers of dark fruits, coffee grounds, liquorice and cask spice. Cask strength at 52.3% ABV, non-chill filtered, natural colour, and one of just 9,120 bottles worldwide. A benchmark Springbank release at a price well below where you’ll find it elsewhere.
