Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Noi Cento by Roxan is grown in Abruzzo, specifically around Rosciano in the Pescara river valley, on hills composed of clay, sand, and gravel soils, influenced by both the Gran Sasso & Majella mountains and breezes from the Adriatic Sea. Where It’s Grown Region: Abruzzo (Central Italy) The wine is DOC Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, one of Italy’s most famous red wine appellations. Abruzzo sits between the Adriatic coast and the Apennine mountains, giving vineyards a mix of maritime freshness and mountain airflow. Specific Location: Rosciano Roxan’s growers are based around Rosciano, a hilltop village overlooking the Pescara river valley. This area is a natural home for Montepulciano, with long tradition and ideal conditions. Terroir Clay, sand, and gravel soils — perfect for producing structured yet soft Montepulciano. Gran Sasso & Majella Massifs provide cool mountain air. Adriatic breezes moderate temperatures, helping ripeness and freshness.
