This tasty pair of gins combines a classic juniper forward London Dry Gin style with a bottle of Weetwood's delectable Marmalade Gin which is just fabulous in a Negroni. 1 x Weetwood London Dry Gin, 70cl Juniper, from three different locations and altitudes around the eastern Mediterranean, is married with fifteen other impeccably-sourced herbs, berries, fruits and spices and finishing in the glass is a gin with notes of clean, fresh pine, sweet spices, tangy citrus and rich dark chocolate. Mix with three parts of your favourite tonic, ice and lemon or lime for a lively G&T. 1 x Weetwood Marmalade Gin, 70cl This premium Marmalade Gin beautifully combines the bittersweet zestiness of marmalade made from Seville oranges pairs with a juniper-led gin. The marmalade is sourced locally from Cheshire’s preserve superstar Mrs. Darlington. Jars and jars of marmalade are used both in the copper-pot during distillation (along with heaps of complementary botanicals) and then later to add sweetness and colour to the gin. As with all of Weetwood's gins, this is created with their own grain spirit ensuring unique character and authenticity. Pair with your favourite tonic and a slice of orange, or try as a base for a Marmalade Negroni. Gin can be made in a few hours, but Weetwood have taken six weeks to make each small batch. They start with a fermentation of barley and wheat to create their own base spirit with real, authentic character. Then they slowly distil this with generous amounts of 16 carefully selected botanicals, extracting flavours both in the copper pot and the botanical basket. Lastly, they condition and mature the spirit for three weeks before bottling. The result combines the strong juniper character expected of a classic London Dry Gin with vibrant citrus aromas.
