Makes 28 cocktails at less than £3.50 a cocktail Create a classy English version of the Manhattan cocktail by mixing two parts Sacred Spiced English Vermouth to one part Sacred English Whisky. This London variation on the American classic uses Sacred Distillery's English Spiced Vermouth in a 2:1 ratio (whisky to spiced vermouth), without the need for any extra bitters. In using this flavoursome peated English Whisky, the recipe proportions are reversed to reduce the dominance of the peat a little and let the spiced vermouth shine. Ingredients50ml English Spiced Vermouth25ml Sacred Peated Whisky In a mixing glass, combine a double measure of the English Spiced Vermouth with a single measure of the Peated English Whisky. Add ice and stir to combine, chill and dilute. Strain into a small chilled cocktail glass (a Nick and Nora one if you have it, or just a Martini glass) and optionally garnish it with a maraschino cherry. This Bundle contains: 2 x Sacred Spiced Vermouth, 50clA rich, deep and gently bitter vermouth, made with English wine from Gloucestershire, organic Wormwood & Thyme grown in Somerset and Sweet Orange studded with Cloves from Madagascar. Including 2 bottles here allows you to make 28 cocktails. 1 x Sacred English Whisky, 70clThis Gold Medal winning English Whisky spends time in ex-bourbon barrels before being re-casked for further maturation and flavour development in sherry hogshead casks: old Pedro Ximenez casks from Bodegas Navarro in Montilla, Spain. These nutty and rich nuances give a truly deep and satisfying single malt. Log-fire smoke from a country pub, sea salt, dried pineapple, clove spice, sweet vanilla and Christmas cake.
