Der Faiveley Les Damodes Premier Cru 2019 stammt aus einer der gefeiertsten Lagen in Nuits-Saint-Georges, im Herzen des Burgunds. Les Damodes liegt am oberen Hang, wo kühle Winde für langsame Reife und präzisen Ausdruck sorgen.Die Vinifikation erfolgt mit traditioneller Handarbeit: Handlese, schonende Entrappung, temperaturkontrollierte Gärung in offenen Holzbottichen. Anschließend reift der Wein 16 Monate in französischen Barriques, davon rund 30 Prozent neues Holz – genug, um Struktur zu geben, ohne die burgundische Eleganz zu überdecken.
