Das Champagnerhaus Ruinart, gegründet 1729, schreibt Geschichte – und der Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Brut ist sein vielleicht reinster Ausdruck. Aus der Champagne kommend, besteht diese Cuvée zu 100% aus Chardonnay, meist aus den besten Premier- und Grand-Cru-Lagen der Côte des Blancs und der Montagne de Reims. Die Magnum-Flasche lässt den Champagner langsamer reifen und bewahrt Frische wie Komplexität gleichermaßen.Die Vinifikation folgt Ruinarts Tradition: ein Großteil der Weine wird in Edelstahl ausgebaut, um die Fruchtklarheit zu erhalten, ein kleinerer Teil im Holz, um Struktur zu geben. Die malolaktische Gärung wird dosiert eingesetzt, die Assemblage vereint mehrere Jahrgänge. Nach mindestens drei Jahren auf der Hefe entwickelt sich jene feine Cremigkeit, für die Ruinart weltberühmt ist.In der Nase zeigt sich der Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Brut mit Noten von weißen Blüten, Zitrusfrüchten und einem Hauch Brioche. Am Gaumen entfaltet sich eine seidige Textur, getragen von Mineralität und feiner Perlage. Aromen von grünem Apfel, Birne und Mandel verschmelzen mit zarter Hefewürze.
