Die Domaine Duroche liegt im Herzen von Gevrey-Chambertin, jener Gemeinde im Burgund, die dem Pinot Noir seine dunkelste, würzigste Ausdrucksform verleiht. Der Gevrey Chambertin 2023 stammt aus Lagen mit klassischem Kalkboden, der dem Pinot Noir seine typische Mineralität und Spannung mitgibt.Im Keller arbeitet Duroche zurückhaltend: sanfte Extraktion, ein Anteil ganzer Trauben in der Gärung, Ausbau in gebrauchten und neuen Fässern, ohne dass das Holz je in den Vordergrund drängt. So bleibt der Charakter der Lage im Zentrum, nicht die önologische Handschrift. Das Ergebnis ist ein Wein, der Kraft und Feingliedrigkeit gleichermaßen in sich trägt.In der Nase entfaltet sich ein Spiel aus roten Kirschen, Waldbeeren und einem Hauch Unterholz, unterlegt von zarten Gewürznoten und einer feinen floralen Spur. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein saftig und straff zugleich, mit präsenter, seidiger Tannin-Struktur und einer Säure, die für Frische und Länge sorgt.
