Der Ruinart Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2010 ist die reinste Essenz dessen, was Chardonnay in der Champagne zu leisten vermag. Seit 1729 steht Ruinart für kompromisslose Qualität – und dieser Jahrgang aus 2010 zeigt, warum das Haus als Synonym für Blanc-de-Blancs-Champagner gilt. Die Trauben stammen ausschließlich aus Grand-Cru-Lagen der Côte des Blancs, wo Chardonnay auf Kreideböden seine mineralische Präzision entfaltet.Die Vinifikation erfolgt klassisch in Edelstahltanks, um die sortentypische Frische zu bewahren. Nach der ersten Gärung reifte der Dom Ruinart über zehn Jahre auf der Hefe in den historischen Kreidekellern von Reims – ein Prozess, der ihm seine cremige Textur und seine vielschichtige Aromatik verleiht. Nur in außergewöhnlichen Jahren wird dieser Champagner überhaupt produziert, 2010 war einer davon.In der Nase entfaltet sich ein Bouquet von weißen Blüten, Zitrusfrüchten und feinen Brioche-Noten. Am Gaumen zeigt sich die ganze Finesse: perlende Frische, getragen von mineralischer Tiefe, dazu Nuancen von Haselnuss, kandierter Zitrone und einem Hauch von Honig.
