Cassis and blackcurrant with cedar, graphite and a whisper of violet. Medium to full-bodied with silky tannins and the structure you want from classed growth Médoc, this has years ahead of it. There`s freshness here despite the ripeness, and the oak integration is seamless. Serious wine that doesn`t shout about it. Decant for an hour if drinking now, or cellar for 10-15 years. Pairs beautifully with lamb, aged beef, or hard cheeses. Serve around 16-18°C.
