2017 Trivento Eolo Malbec
Appearance- This is a rich, plush, deep red wine, so dark and opaque as to appear almost black at times. Aroma- The nose is redolent of ripe blackberries and black cherry, mingled with soft and i0iting accents of rosehip. Fragrant, yet subtle notes of black tea and cinnamon are a legacy of time spent in barrels of French oak. Palate- Fresh and i0iting, delivering an excellent balance between layers of fruit, fine tannins and a hint of acidity that conclude in a long and silky finish.
