It is presented in its natural form: non-chill-filtered, without coloring, and with a robust alcohol content of 57.1% ABV, or 100 British proof – a rarity on the market. This bottling is part of the "100 Proof Editions" series from Signatory Vintage, an independent bottler based in Pitlochry, known for its uncompromising cask selection and authentic whiskies. These editions are bottled exclusively at cask strength and represent the concentration, depth, and pure expressiveness of the respective distillery. The Glentauchers distillery, founded in 1897, is known among connoisseurs for its fruit-forward, creamy malts, which rarely appear as original bottlings—making independent single cask releases like this one all the more sought-after.
