Empyrean, spine-tingling purity."Tasted by Tamlyn Currin, wine writer for Jancis Robinson The golden colour of this Silvaner Beerenauslese indicates its extraordinary taste experience. It has notes of candied fruit, creamy caramel and delicate. On the palate, it has a unique blend of fruit and sweetness - perfection in concentration. The vineyards that produces these Silvaner grapes are in the south-west of Schwanberg. The south-facing slopes, with a gradient of up to 60%, provide optimal conditions for growing grapes. The soil's surface temprature has been know to reach 70°C, making it the hottest vineyard in Franconia. This Silvaner Beerenauslese was made from fully ripe, raisin-like, dried Silvaner berries in 2018 - a special treat. Date of harvest: 22nd October 2018 Drinking temperature: 13-14°C Drinking window: 2060 Food recommendation: This white wine pairs perfectly with fruity desserts, chocolate and strong cheeses.
