Cantine Ermes Vento di Mare Nero d'Avola 0.75 ltr 13.5%
0.75 l 13.5%Cantine Ermes Vento di Mare Nero d'AvolaBeautiful deep red wine with purple hues. The fragrance is dominated by a mix of red cherry and raspberry. The taste is true to the smell, you discover some primary red berries and a mineral-like acidity emerges. A medium body profile is rounded off by subtle tannins and a fruity aftertaste. The Cantine Ermes Vento di Mare Nero d'Avola goes well with roasts, red meat and both young and mature cheeses.Cantine ErmesThe story of Cantine Ermes has its origins in a recent past that begins on the night between January 14 and 15, 1968, when a terrible earthquake destroyed the Belìce Valley, a large part of western Sicily. A group of young winegrowers decided to rebuild everything from scratch. They managed to get the region off the ground again, both economically and socially. In 1998, this process was completed with the creation of the Cantine Ermes cooperative, right in the heart of the Belìce Valley, between the towns of Gibellina and Santa Ninfa.Today, Cantine Ermes is one of the most important producers in Sicily, with its 9,141 hectares of vineyards spread across the provinces of Trapani, Agrigento and Palermo, and its 2,008 members who grow both local and international grape varieties every day with passion and sacrifice.
