Luckily countries worldwide understand the gravity of this situation and work to enact and enforce different standards. Standards.This course by Exoexcellence Consultants on using Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) has been developed to fill the gap between understanding respiratory hazards in industrial settings and their management. By enrolling in this course the students and professionals belonging to the field of Industrial Health and Safety can benefit themselves to a vast extent. It overviews respiratory hazards in different industries and lists examples of hazards specific to certain industries and how they affect different organs. It also classifies Self-Contained Breathing Apparatuses into different categories and explains OSHA’s requirements for enacting a respiratory protection program. The steps to implement a proper respiratory protection program are also discussed.The most important feature of this course is two simulation exercises that have been added to topics 3 and 4 respectively. These exercises give students a practical insight into how they can practically implement the knowledge they gain across the course. We believe this course will be an extremely beneficial learning resource for Alison's students!
