Usage Guide: Wooden Wick Care Just as a garden requires the right conditions to thrive, our wooden wicks need simple maintenance for the best experience: The First Burn: Light the wooden wick across its entire width. Allow the wax to melt all the way to the glass edges (usually 2-3 hours). This prevents "tunnelling" and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle. The "Pinch": Before re-lighting, your wick must be short (approx. 3-4mm). Once the candle is cool, simply pinch off the black charred wood from the top of the wick.
