TL-SF1016D garantisce un'altissima velocità di rete grazie alla tecnologia non-blocking switching, per l'inoltro e il filtraggio dei pacchetti dati alla massima velocità supportata dal cavo. Grazie alla gestione dei Jumbo frame da 10K le prestazioni sui trasferimenti di grandi file sono state migliorate in modo significativo.
