FLAME RETARDANT & WATERPROOF (PU) DUVETS Product Details: Premium Polyurethane Coated Outer Cover 100% Polyester FR treated Hollowfibre Filling Anti-Allergenic Highly Durable Soft feel, Low Noise Wipe Clean only Our flame retardant, PU duvets are manufactured in UK using FR Polyurethane synthetic fabric, which is tested to ensure it complies with British Standard (BS) 7175 1989 Section 3.Polyurethane is a polymer composed of organic units joined by carbamate links. While most polyurethanes are thermosetting polymers that do not melt when heated, Our duvets and other FR bedding products, be it cotton or polyester, gain their flame-retardant properties through a quality controlled Chemical process. This process means that our products are treated with a chemical that allows the fabric to form an insulating char when exposed to flames, thus protecting the fabric and providing a completely reliable flame-retardant performance. Our FR & Waterproof PU duvets are filled with 100% polyester FR treated Hollowfibre, which contains fibres that are hollow and can trap air within them, thus insulating the pillow and making it much warmer. Hollowfibre also ensures that the pillow maintains its shape and structure, meaning that they are highly durable. Our PU Pillows & duvets are specially treated to give them a luxurious and soft feel, ensuring that our bedding products are both light and extremely comfortable.
