Tripod Rosette Adapter Let’s face it 99% of tripod pan bar/handles suck! They flex slip strip and are an underwhelming afterthought in tripod design. This is a shame as the pan bar is what directly interfaces with the fluid head thus any shortcomings of the handle translate into your footage. We decided to solve this once and for all by creating a universal 4-tooth rosette and adapting it to an ARRI-style 60-tooth M6 standard. You’re welcome. We tested a range of proprietary rosettes and found the 4-tooth design able to interact with all of them. Included in the kit are the most standard options of mounting bolts for tripod rosette adapters: ?”-20 ?”-16 M6 and M8. Once you’ve matched which bolt works with your setup install it into the camera tripod mount adapter then secure the ARRI-style rosette using the included 4x M3 x 8mm flat head bolts. This tripod mount adapter features a captive bolt design to prevent accidental loss of hardware. Once installed on the tripod you can now mount any standard rosette accessory. Our favorite is the Pro Rosette Extension Arm and Trigger Wing Side Handle combination. With the proper LANC cable you can now control your compatible camera’s start/stop via the grip. This new ultra-pan arm is an incredible combo.
