MICHAEL BUBL - Call Me Irresponsible Ah, Michael Bubl, the smooth crooner who has made a career out of making mums swoon and aunties weep with his suave vocals and charming demeanor. His 2007 album "Call Me Irresponsible" is no exception to the Bubl formula, but does it bring anything new to the table or is it just more of the same old schmaltz? The answer is a resounding...meh. And the title track, with its jaunty swing beat and playful lyrics, is a toe-tapping delight that will have you reaching for your dancing shoes. But ultimately, "Call Me Irresponsible" feels more like a retread of Bubl's greatest hits than a bold new statement. Fans of the Canadian crooner will no doubt eat it up, but those looking for something fresh and exciting may be left feeling a tad underwhelmed. Call me irresponsible, but I expected more from the man who made grandmas worldwide swoon.
