Viña Pomal Maturana Blanca
Viña Pomal Maturana Blanca parte de colección de monovarietales de Bodegas Bilbaínas, Viña Pomal Vinos Singulares. La Maturana Blanca también se conoce por el nombre de Ribadavia. Se aprobó su uso en la D.O.Ca. Rioja en 2007, aunque es la variedad más antigua de la que se tiene conocimiento escrito en Rioja, pues se cita ya en 1622. Es una variedad de buena fertilidad, presenta un racimo pequeño y bayas elípticas, también de tamaño pequeño. Es precoz en su desarrollo, y es destacable por su bajo pH, con alto contenido en ácido tartárico y bajo en potasio. Presenta el inconveniente de su alta sensibilidad a la botrytis, por lo que es exigente en su seguimiento.
